I know many of you will tell me this isn't the place, but I still don't know what "ORTF" and "DFC" means. I figure dfc must have something to do with "front center." Any help? Thanks!

DFC
Dead Front Center (Dead F-ing Center). The taper's rig was set up in line with center stage. Usually mentioned in conjunction with FOB or OTS.

ORTF
Organisation de Radio et Television Francaise, This is a way in which the mics are angled at 110 degrees apart, 170mm apart, as opposed to pointed at the stacks. This is used at a very small distance from the stage, and usually only in clubs.
